Expanding Possibilities: Greenheck DGX Now Offers More PDX Options in H22 Housing

Greenheck continues to set the standard for make-up air solutions by expanding its Model DGX line. This is available in the H22 housing, the DGX with packaged direct expansion (PDX) cooling offers airflow capabilities up to 9,000 CFM and new cooling capacities of 7, 10, and 16 tons. These enhancements broaden the unit’s utility for a variety of commercial and industrial make-up air applications.

The DGX is the industry’s first direct gas-fired make-up air unit with PDX cooling designed to comply with new A2L refrigerant requirements. By integrating R-454B refrigerant, the DGX combines performance, safety, and sustainability. This delivers 100% outdoor tempered air ventilation, heating, and cooling in one system.

The Difference It Makes

  • More Options, Greater Flexibility: Units now range from 800 to 9,000 CFM with expanded cooling options to fit project-specific needs.
  • Superior Efficiency: Microchannel coils offer 40% higher efficiency in a 40% smaller footprint while using 50% less refrigerant.
  • Built to Last: Robust galvanized steel construction, Permatector™ coating options, and modular design ensure durability and easy configuration.
  • Sustainable and Compliant: Designed to mitigate A2L refrigerant risks, DGX is UL 60335-2-40 certified, ETL listed, and EPA compliant.

The MSX line comes with the same expanded options for projects that don’t require gas-fired heating.

As project requirements change, Greenheck’s expanded DGX lineup gives engineers, contractors, and building owners a practical and future-ready solution for delivering comfort, compliance, and energy savings.
